Carriço Underground Storage

Awarded by Transgás - Sociedade Portuguesa de Gás Natural to the Consortium formed by CME/KBB/KOCH/BPC, this project consisted of two stages:

• Caves construction in saline formations (rock salt), located at a depth of about one thousand metres and with a capacity of over 250 thousand cubic metres.
• Later construction of a Natural Gas Compression Station.
