Management and Certification System
Through the Integrated Policy Statement, ProCME Group, and CME in particular, prove its commitment to a more balanced and cohesive society based on sustainability principles.
The UN's Sustainable Development Goals are integrated into our organisation's commitments, and are systematised through the implementation of an Integrated Management System (covering Quality, Environment, Safety and Social Responsibility) and an Anti-Bribery & Compliance System (which incorporates Business Ethics).
Business Ethics:

Quality:
Service quality is our first commitment towards the sustained growth strategic goal. We have always believed that the implementation and maintenance of a quality management system would be an asset in the global value chain, bringing added value, not only to our companies, but also to our clients and our business partners. CME has been ISO9001 (initially ISO9002) certified since 1996.
Safety:
Our people are our greatest asset. Our employees' quality of life is essential for the Group's strategic goal of sustained growth. We provide an internal Occupational Health and Safety service through a skilled and highly qualified team of professionals who analyse tasks, assess risks, define prevention and protection measures, train and inform our workers, as well as those who operate under our organisation's coordination, and monitor in the field the compliance with the defined rules. The implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety management system is a crucial tool in the prevention of occupational accidents and/or diseases. CME is certified by OHSAS18001, now ISO45001, since 2003.
Environment:
At ProCME Group, we are aware that our activities have an impact on the Environment. Thus, our commitment to sustainability will only be effective in all our actions, if we are aligned with the Environmental Protection practices, namely through the Pollution Prevention and Biodiversity Protection. As the main impacts of the Group's companies are waste production and natural resources consumption (electricity and fuel), we propose to train and inform our employees, and business partners, about the legal obligations and Good Practices to be observed in these matters. Environmental management system implementation and maintenance provides us with a systematic methodology to identify and assess Environmental Impacts, through which we define the Prevention and Mitigation measures to be implemented on a day-to-day basis. CME has been certified by ISO14001 since 2004.
Other Certifications:
CME, in its constant search for continuous improvement and transparency, is also certified according to the standard SA8000 (since 2013) - Social Responsibility - and according to the standard ISO37001 (since 2020) - Anti-Corruption System. It is also certified according to the requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2067 and Decree Law No. 145/2017 since 2014.
