Carriço Underground Storage:

Awarded by Transgás - Sociedade Portuguesa de Gás Natural to the Consortium formed by CME/KBB/KOCH/BPC, this project consisted of two stages: caves construction in saline formations (rock salt), located at a depth of about one thousand metres and with a capacity of over 250 thousand cubic metres; and later construction of a Natural Gas Compression Station.

Desulphurisation at Sines Thermoelectric Plant:

Large-scale project for thermoelectric plant environmental requalification, Sines Thermoelectric Plant's desulphurisation unit, with an installed capacity of over 1200 MW, allows the treatment of coal combustion exhaust gases. This is a "turnkey" project, in CME/Hitachi/Cobra consortium.

New Zinc Plant at Somincor:

CME has been awarded with 2 major electricity and instrumentation installation contracts: supply of electrical and instrumentation installations for the plant's expansion with greenfield and brownfield materials supply, where work shifts were foreseen.
